In the summer of 2026, one of Utah's most destructive fires ever recorded burned the mountain above Beaver, Utah. Homes and businesses were destroyed in the blaze that ultimately consumed over 97,000 acres. As the community was actively working to help those affected by the fire, summer monsoon rains caused multiple instances of flash flooding from the burn scar. Additional homes were destroyed or badly damaged, and the community was without potable water for several days after the floods contaminated their water supply.

Since the devastation began, the BIG Chamber has organized and overseen the community's fire and flood relief efforts. Along with many volunteers, generous donors, and community and state leaders, we have worked to help those affected find support, housing, supplies, and other resources depending on each individual's and family's situations. We appreciate any support, as there is still much to do and much to recover.
